MORE THAN JUST A PETSITTING AND GROOMING COMPANY
The sole purpose of Petcetra's commencement was to raise enough funds to eventually help the strays of India by running a Petsitting and Grooming Company.
Over the last 4 years, we are continuously initiating projects to save and better the conditions of strays in India.
We have vaccinated more than 200 strays against anti rabies for free, we also conduct free presentations in schools and institutions about ´Sensitization of Animals´ with the motive of educating the youth about Animal behaviour. Read more below:
FIGHTING AGAINST RABIES
Simply initiated by our Social Media, Petcetra held a free vaccination drive for three days. We managed to vaccinate more than 200 strays against Rabies and De-Worming across the whole city of Mumbai. A still Work-In-Progress project, we aim at vaccinating majority of strays in the whole of India against Rabies.
EDUCATING THE YOUTH ABOUT ANIMAL BEHAVIOUR
One of the most crucial reasons there are many underprivileged strays prevalent in India is the lack of sensitization towards animals, which leads to the growth of an constant fear from these strays and animals in general leading to some of the most inhumane heartless incidents.
'Animals are harmless living beings that need to be treated with love and care, even if they are not your pets' - is what each and everyone should keep in mind, be it retiring senior citizens, or little kids still in kinder garden.
We at Petcetra are going from school to school teaching young kids about sensitization towards animals, so that they grow up to be responsible adults who love animals fearlessly.
We are continuously collaborating with NGOs to thank them for their existence and for helping them to function smoothly.
We all share the same goal of existence, to save the strays and to better the conditions of animals in India.
In the past we have collaborated with Cat Cafe Studio by grooming their rescued babies, we also collaborated with three other NGOs on our fourth birthday (Welfare of Stray Dogs, YODA, Cat Cafe Studio and Animal Angel Association) who also are the best shelter homes in Mumbai by grooming and pampering their rescued babies.
